Lana Marks
This woman is out of her mind!

OK, so I reply to an ad for a part time position with this company via e-mail. There's no name, only a phone number. So I do a reverse look up of the phone number so that I can get a name for the company. I pull up the name LANA MARKS on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. I'm thinking, YEAH, I'm going to apply for a position on Worth Ave! Whoo-hoo! I then Google LANA MARKS to see exactly what type of business this is... Needless to say, I'm quite impressed with this business.

I go to the interview on Monday, January 26 & I'm hired on the spot! I'm thinking, this is awesome!

I report for work the next day at 9am. First impressions mean a lot. The reception office is very cold and barren of ANY type of decoration. Bare white walls, empty, custom made desk tops, cold marble tile. So on and so on.

Next, we have to punch in... Well the time clock is on a small box, on the floor around the corner. You actually have to bend down to punch in; you'd think with the kind of money this woman charges for a handbag $11,000.00) she could afford, at least, a little table to set the time clock on! Nope, we have to get down on the floor like some type of servant!

Next, she calls the three of us, that she just hired, into the conference room to give us all assignments. We're told, "keep everything in ONE pile, DO NOT separate into pile all over your desk. (Keep in mind she has crap scattered all over the floor in her office AND on her desk; really unorganized!

So I had about 8 different things to work on, two being insurance claims. One of the claims, I read a note in the file, dates back 7 months ago. One of the notes, dated in September from the insurance company, states that LANA MARKS must provide certain documentation in order for the claim to be finalized. Mrs. Marks has not done her part on this claim and wants me to follow up on this AGAIN! I get the same exact answer from Maria at the insurance company of exactly what needs to be done...

Yes this story has been a little lengthy, but to sum it up, Mrs. Marks told me that I should have had all of this work done in 5 MINUTES! Can you believe this woman?! She couldn't follow up on an insurance claim from 7 months ago & I'm to have had all of this work that she game me, done in 5 minutes.

This woman is TOTALLY nuts! So needless to say, I was let go at that very moment. My past history of work has been 8 1/2 years at one company & 7 1/2 years at another; I couldn't make 4 hours at her company before I was "let go".

Know what I have to say about that??? THANK GOODNESS!

So be forewarned, YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK FOR LANA MARKS! Oh yeah, I checked with the BBB and found that LANA MARKS has a D rating!
