I read the earlier post and was quite alarmed and upset. I shopped around for mandaps and I found that Tarak's company had a mandap which I liked and it was reasonable.

What if the same situation happened to me? God forbid something would happen to my father-in-law! I think my in laws are the sweetest. Anyway, I got Tarak to redo his contract to make the deposit refundable if we cancel at anytime for any reason, and he could cancel the wedding at any time for any reason. My fiance at the time thought that was fair. I figured that he wouldn't cancel on us as long as he wanted to stay in business.

My wedding turned out amazing and he did what he promised and I am a happy customer.

To the previous bride: I understand your anger but I would not agree to bash his company and try to ruin their reputation based on no wrong doing on their part! Good luck on your new beginning!
