Central Casting
Imposible to get booked if you are not with call in service

As of today, 01/27, I was calling booking line for the show CSI Miami from 1:30P.M. Till 6:47 p. M constantly, every 3 to 5 minutes, line was busy all the time!!! And, of course, when CD picked up the phone at 6:47p. M, all I have heard: "I am all booked for today, thank you for calling". It my third time when I am doing everything to get a job, but, obviously, if you are not with call in service, which would cost you $75.00 a month, it is highly unlike you can book yourself for a good show.

I have registered with Central Casting in October... Well, I am not going to lie, I did couple shows, which was a miracle and now I feel, I am forced to get this call in service, which is ridiculous, you have to pay $75.00 to get a $8.00/per hour!!! I know, a lot of people are doing that, and this is how Central Casting is making the most of their money, even if they will tell you that call in service is not essential, but just try to get through those lines!

Clearly, call in service has a first priority and Central Casting probably is also making profits from those $75.00 each one of you are paying. On the outside Central Casting looks very good but eventually you will notice that there is something is going on. So, I am going to look for other agencies, which are not charging $75.00 a month fee in order to be on a set. Would be a good thing to do: every extra with Central Casting just stop using call in service... I know, that is not going to happen, so I may try couple more times and put my update here.

Very upset with Central Casting, they are just people who make money on you, taking every opportunity to use you and your desire to be an actor or actress. And, as for an acting career, to work as an extra is not the best you can do, especially with Central Casting. Sorry, it took me so long to express everything, but I am really upset!!!
