First consumers national bank preferred charge card & experian credit reporting agency rip-off fraudulent application accepted as mine and now they refuse to send me a copy of the application oregon

I have been fighting this since 1997 to get it off my credit report&to no avail. I first received notice from an Atty. Kay that I had a delinquent account with FCNB/Spiegels/eddiebauer/
newport.

I wrote to the attorney and explained I had never applied for a credit card from these people. He investigated and sent stating he was sending the account back to the creditor. I wrote to FCNB and ask for a copy of the credit application but never heard anything from them.

I applied for credit from Sears this past Christmas and was refused. I checked my credit with Experian and sure enough, FCNB has sold the account to Midland Management Corp. They contacted me for the money plus interest. Not only is this account on my credit report once for FCNB, but it is now on there a second time (2 bad marks!!!) with Midland. Experian refuses to do anything about FCNB other than reporting to me that they investigated and the account is mine.

I'm really mad now. I'm going the full gambit and reporting everyone involved to the Federal Trade Commission. I am still trying to get a copy of the original application for credit. I'm a business owner and have never been refused credit. I have 13 great accounts showing on my credit report.
