I ordered a dress and a pair of shoes through Essence By Mail on or around April 8 for $110.00, including $9.95 Shipping and Handling. The items were allegedly sent to a fictitious city and zip code and then returned to Essence By Mail but no one bothered to contact me about the "mishap." Instead, I found out three weeks later (around April 30) when calling to trace the order. At that point, I was told that the items would be that the dress was on "back order" for two months and the shoes on "back order" for 1 month. I changed the size of the shoe to an available size which they assured me was being shipped immediately. For my troubles and patience, they offered to send me a $20.00 gift letter.

On May 21, I called again to find out where my shoes were and were told that no such order even EXISTED. To this date, I never received the gift letter and I have been lied to by this company whose legitimacy is questionable, at best. No items have ever been sent, my money has been taken, no gift rebate has been issued.

"Essence By Mail" must be STOPPED!
