Pink Superstore
President Dan Hansen took payment and failed to provide merchandise

On December 17th, I ordered a pink child's guitar for my daughter as a Christmas present. The website indicated that the item was in stock and to be assured of it's arrival by December 25th, I paid for "Express Shipping." The shipping cost nearly as much as the product.
As Christmas closed in and no delivery - I emailed the company through their website to verify the delivery (as my credit card was charged on the first day of the order). Got no reply until several attempts later, at which time I got a reply from a Mr. Dan Hansen basically asking what I wanted. I responded with a copy of my original request for information on the shipping of my order. No response. Ironically the website says that emails will get a response in 24 hours. It also said to call with questions - but provides no phone number. Mr. Hansen's only response was also conspicuously absent of a phone number. Hmmmmmm...
To date I have received neither the merchandise or any further communication. Naturally, I am concerned that this goes beyond just amazingly lousy customer service. Not sure about the rules in Oregon, but in Ohio you're not really allowed to take people's money and fail to provide the advertised merchandise. Ohioans also don't consider 2 weeks to be "express" shipping.
I wasn't very surprised to do a quick check with the Better Business Bureau and find that Pink Superstore received their lowest rating of "F." Wish I had taken a minute to do that search first.
I've been shopping online for a decade and this is the ONLY merchant that I have had a problem with. I urge EXTREME CAUTION for anyone thinking about using this company.
