"Sale" item shown in flier not available

I obtained a pamphlet from Basics recently (12/13) showing "seven days of savings!" from 12/14 to 12/20. Among the items provided there's an HP Pavilion laptop with Intel Core 2 Pair Processor P7350 (item # 761021). I visited the shop in Milpitas recently (12/13) and also the people assisting me explained they did not contain it in-stock, couldnot think it is on the computers and couldnot tell me when (or wherever) I could have it from. I tried calling 3 nearby shops nowadays (situated in the cities of San Jose, Campbell and Fremont) and got exactly the same obscure reactions using the greatest reaction being "try again on Tuesday". Does this identify as bogus marketing??? Additionally, the folks "assisting" me about the telephone were monosyllabic and rude.
