Matthew Baker Claiming To Be Athro Corporation HR Solicited me via Email for a Part Time position receiving payments

I received an email soliciting part time cashier position from a supposedly reputable company started in 1984. The job description stated that I would be receiving payments in cashier's check or money order, cashing them and then sending them to the company. This set off warning bells to me because if this company had supposedly been in business so long that it seemed a bit shady that they didn't take checks or credit cards. Also, the email address was not from the company's domain name—it was from an Australian email address and the "reply to" email address was live.com.

I looked up the actual company online and initiated the "Live Chat" option. The following is the transcript of the conversation followed by the email I received:
