Aug 02: Wife ordered something on phone from Chadwicks
Oct 02: People and Time magazines mysteriously begin appearing. No contact info, no bills. We figure it may be a gift from a relative.
Jan 03: $109 charge mysteriously appears on credit card bill. Wife wrongfully accused.
Feb 03: Determine that charge is from Synapse. Call 1-800 number (search this site for their ripoff schemes). Say "addres chnage" to reach a live operator. She tells me that Chadwick's was the source of the order.

Chadwick's web page explains that the "Brylane" family of brands routinely provides this info to "Synapse". Of course, the customer is not asked ahead of time. This is an offensive business practice which deserves boycotting.

Brylane: if you read this, I will not buy from you until I read in the news that you apologize, and that you have fired your head of marketing.
