It was by chance that I came upon this site. To my surprise the very first complaint was against a Monarch Dental Center, very similar to my complaint.

Monarch claimed that I needed several expensive services of which I agreed to because they are supposed to be the experts in these matters. One of my crowns failed and I have had to pay $850 out of pocket with a new "real" dentist to have replaced. Before Monarch will consider refunding me for my costs, they want me to return to this center and have an impression and I guess a new crown. I don't think so because not only did I receive cheap material, each and every time I visited the Cedar Hill facility, my wait was 2 or more hours before I could see the doctor - and I had an appointed time to be there. The staff is unfriendly and uncaring and in my opinion, the entire organization is only a sweat shop and they only care about their revenues and not quality dental care.
