Tried to get me to deposit a check for $2700.00 and then sent back some of the money

This was the second time I got one of these checks. I got a letter in the mail telling me to deposit it in my account, then sent them a money gram to a tax agent in Canada. Then my winnings will be sent to me.

They said to give them the claim number that was on the letter. The people have a Jamaiacan accent. Please be aware of them.

I also took the check to the bank, it turned out to be phoney.

Thanks to the bank I didn't loose any money, just felt foolish, but greatful.
