Bait, Switch, and Steal!

When I paid my bill this month for MetroPCS, I was received a notice stating, "beginning October 29th, you will no longer be able to use funds from your
MetroConnect Account for International or domestic long distance calling. Please visit a MetroPCS store to purchase a new MetroPCS calling card."

For those not familiar, MetroPCS offers unlimited long distance calling plans within the USA but to make International calls, one simply placed funds in a their 'MetroConnect' account to cover the cost of those calls.in good faith, I put money in my account to call my relatives in Canada and now they're changing the terms of service with barely a month's notice.

So not only are they pulling a fast one to bait, switch, and steal, but they're going to make it more difficult for their customers by forcing them to run out and buy calling cards to make International calls. Guess what MetroPCS? I can buy calling cards from other companies to make International calls and I will be!

You might get a good deal with MetroPCS but you'll pay for it in terms of horrible customer service, poor coverage, rip-off roaming rates, dropped calls, and now because they're apparently run by shysters, you won't be able to make International calls.
