Ripoff double & triple coupons for one coupon only

I just found out that Krogers with their double and triple of coupons is a rip off in that you do not get double or triple on more than one coupon. If you have two coupons for the same item and buy two of that item you get double or triple on only one of the coupons and face value on the other.

This is not writen in any of their ads and I have not seen it at the store. When asked they say it has always been their policy to do it this way, but only recently have they started inforcing it. I know one person who was fired because she did not physically change the cash register not to double or triple the coupons on items.
