Watch your receipts! Target likes to advertise special deals only to charge regular price for the item. I will admit it is not as bad as it used to be (1999), but occasionally it happens.

Gift Registry? I shop at Target 1-2 times a week, and quite frequently have to use their gift registry. The "Registry" format needs to brought into Year 2003. Is there a reason why we are relying on humans to ensure that items are scanned for the registry? Did you know that the items are not entered through the system until that evening? Items are are not updated in "real-time" and therefore, you could be buying the same thing at the same time for the very same person. It will not propagate through the system until the next business day.

New Computer Check-outs: I can speak for the Apple Valley SuperTarget when I say that "many" times the credit card/smart terminals are actually dumb. I work in the computer field, and understand that computers are only as smart as their "owners". Target has employed terminals that require that you use a stylus to proceed through the navigation of windows. 85% of the time the stylus does not work, the computer gui does not work, etc. I hope this is a beta test for their terminals, otherwise I have a feeling someone pulled the wool over the Marketing Dept.
