Associated Tax Relief
Ripped us off $5000 and did not hear from them for over a year!

My boyfriend contacted Associated Tax Relief over a year ago. We had to pay them up front for services in the amount of $5000.00. We then heard nothing from them for the next year. We tried and tried to get someone on the phone, but never succeeded. We left message after message and never got a return call. I was so upset that I decided that I would look them up on the Better Business Bureau. Wow, was that an eye opener. I knew at that moment we had been had. We knew it would be a losing battle to get a refund and we needed our back taxes handled as soon as possible, so we hired a local accountant to do them. Just recently we received prepared returns in the mail from Associated Tax Relief... Just out of the blue, no calls, no nothing. They prepared returns for us that had already been prepared and filed with the particular state.

I then starting looking on line for more info and found this website and was astonished by how many people have been ripped off by this company!!! They should not be able to get away with this! I have read that other people have looked into filing a class action suit. I have been trying to find any information regarding any suites that my have been started. I don't want them to get away with this. We are so upset... Not only are we out $5000 but we then had to pay someone else to handle this matter.
