Ripoff Deceptive company

We received several calls confirming our address, phone number, etc. Said they'd be sending information and granting a 30 day trial period. We never received any information and didn't know about it until we got the phone bill.

The first month it was charged by a company by the name of HBS - Hold Billing Services and listed as "new service provider - Mercury". I called the number and they told me no problem, they'd remove the charge.

On the next month's phone bill, the charge was still there and listed as late. And there was another charge by ILD Teleservices, Inc. And miscellaneous charge by Liberty Online Services.

I called the IDL number and they told me I had to call Liberty Online. I called them and she told me that she would cancel the "subscription" but they could not remove the charges because the website had already been set up and costs incurred. I fought with her and she said she was going over and above company poliy and granted a $10 credit.

In the next few days, I did a search for Liberty Online svcs and IDL. That was when I found all the complaints filed against IDL. So I called IDL back and was forwarded to Liberty Online. I told them I had called before, I found the complaints on the internet and if they didn't credit our account, I would be calling the BBB. She put me on hold for a while and then came back and told me (once again) that they were going above company policy and crediting our account for the entire amount.

I then called our local phone company, Verizon, and asked to them to not allow any 2nd party charges.
