False job offer, apparent discrimination

I was cheerfully hired by the Securitas Agency, no specific job offered. I happen to be a licensed security guard, unarmed with over 2 years experience.

However, my height is slightly under 5', I am 48 years old. A woman.

Later, I was told that someone else more qualified was hired for a Specific job, also got a postcard telling me the same. All right. Securitas is an agency. The only other thing I was told was to reapply in sixty days.
