Virgin Mobile Users BEWARE!!! It used to be that you could just add text messaging bundles as you needed them. Now, without notification, Virgin Mobile has changed their poilicy!!! When you Top-Up your account, You must select a text bundle then. I restarted my month today, and because I did not select a bundle, I lost the 700 messages I had left from a 1000 message bundle purchased on 8/23!!!

I called them after checking my account and seeing that my messages were gone. After speaking with a VERY RUDE CS rep, who basically told me that it was my loss, I demanded to speak to a Supervisor. After being placed on hold for several minutes, someone claiming to be the supervisor came on. I even questioned this because she sounded identical to the first person I spoke to. She took the same attitude and basically told me that I couldn't add the messages now unless they went in, re-started my month all over again and paid to have the messages added back on!

I explained to her that I shouldn't have to pay when I had more than half left and they didn't expire for another 20 days! She told me that that is the only option and there was nothing they could do for me. If it was my fault, I would understand a little more, but they changed this in the course of 12 days without notifying customers. No email, no text message, no call. They are very good about sending you messages about how to donate to this, or buy that game!!!

After this month, I am cancelling my account after more than 7 years with them. Too many deceptive practices and too unwilling to work with customers. They acted like I was trying to get something for free from them when all I wanted was what I had already paid for!!
