Bad service

I visited the school on 10/06/07 with my son sebastian escobar (8 years old) and registered him in violin lessons. Per the school's request payment for registration and tuition was issued in the amount of $242.50. Check # 503 from eastern financial florida credit union. The check was cashed on 10/30/07. I did not receive a copy of the agreement i signed. My son has a learning disability (speech delay) and his regular school plus his reading & math tutoring schedule was a problem. The only possible time available at the music school was on sundays. Taking under consideration my son's busy schedule mr. Coff, the teacher and owner of the school stated it was ok for my son to start his lessons after the fcat testing. My son did not participate in any lesson.in late may or early june i contacted mr. Coff via the school's web site, explaining that my son continues with tutoring and the cost does not allow me to pay for both (tutoring & violin lessons) and that he would not be attending, and i requested a refund. Mr. Coff replied that due to school policy it was not possible to refund any money. I have requested in 3 occasions 06/17,07/02 and 07/09 that a copy of the agreement that i signed that states the non-refundable tuition and fees policies be sent to me; but i have not received a reply. On the email i sent on 07/09, i stated that i would file a complaint with bbb. I still have not received a reply.

Please note that I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and their attempts to address this issue were ignored.
