Equitable Acceptance / Simply Gourmet / New Era Pray off young couples, charges horrible, no confirm payoff, pans stick and burn

We too got duped into purchasing these crappy pans. We were told it was a free gift with the purchase and this would be a great wedding purchase. Plus we had to drive over an hour to go see this. We thought it was kosher but alas it was not. We sat through this 3 hour presentation just to have them talk down to us pressuring us into these pans with you have to pay now to get locked in. So stupidly we did this.

I was never given a copy of my paper work from the start that we signed. We were told we would get it in the mail.in this the warranty sheet was never given as well, also told we would get this. I and my fiance' had been told this purchase for this pan set would last for a lifetime. Never scratch, burn, warp, break, never need to cook with oils in food. I have to cook at a very low level just to not burn the meals I cook and it still burns it unless I want to nuke it in the microwave to be safe. It scratches with every cook due to having to scrape my burnt food from the pans. The pans have also changed color.

We have had them since Dec and found that the payments were rediculous and so I put this on my Chase credit card.in doing so I was charged a 75.00 fee to pay this purchase off. So basically like never making a payment due to the higher than told originally interest rate. I have tried to contact them to get a confirmation number and they refused to give one. Also was told that I couldn't get a replacement or refund after in the beginning being told it was a money back guarentee for the not liking this product. Well also in this it takes a month to get this pan set to start out with.

I have used all of their special recommended cleaners and still have issues with the pans and it streaks real bad unless I wash it several times. I wish I could get my money back and be rid of these pans.

With the hell they've given over the pans I am afraid of the other free gifts of free wedding cameras and honeymoon trips.

I also was worried as they wouldn't reply to my emails or calls on a confirmation or anything related to the pans. So I checked online and found this site and have seen others with the exact same problems.

I called my credit card to try to fight them and they conversed with Equitable Acceptance on this issue and they simply said these are "AS-IS" and non refundable. So my credit card company closed the issue. I recalled and got it reopened but need to get a copy of this warranty to prove them to be frauds. I am just afraid this was all verbal and no writing was done on this.

If anyone does have this warranty and a copy of the contract, could someone scan it and email it to me please. I would advise this as well for others. If this doesn't work I am still going to try small claims court. But hopefully it won't have to come to this.
