After reading the accusations on this site, I felt compelled to share my personal experience I've had with Jeff Crolene. My name is Richard, and I'm a single parent with two kids. My plan was to move from California to Arizona and to pursue my dream of starting a pool service business. I first met Jeff in when he was representing a well known national Pool Route Broker who will go unnamed. Jeff told me that the Broker had a pool route for sale that may be ideal for me. I met with Jeff face to face at an Ihop in Phoenix. He was very down to earth, very positive and upbeat. There was no question that Jeff knew what he was doing, that he had extensive experience, and he knew the trade well. He was not just blowing smoke to make a sale. Jeff knew what my dream was and promised to help me in any way possible, not just for 30 days, not 3 months, but for life. That's a pretty big promise! Jeff said that he would always to there and just be a phone call away. Somehow I felt that he didn't just talk the talk but he walked the walk. Little did I know that in my time of need, he really would be there.

Shortly after that meeting, I ended up moving to Arizona, and met with the seller whose name was Tom. Tom was a wolf in sheep's clothing. Little did I know that Tom did not own the pool route that was for sale, but actually had just bought the route recently, on terms and unpaid for. After two months, things were not adding up, accounts were not up to par, people we're paying me. Rich, who claimed to actually own the pool route, started taking back the accounts from under me, claiming non-payment from Tom, who long since disappeared. After investing all my savings, over $56,000 in my business, I found myself with virtually nothing but a handful of pool accounts I was able to get and no one to assist me. Except for Jeff.

Jeff went out of his way to make it happen. He reassured me that everything was going to be OK. He was there every day of my struggle, just like he promised. He promised to help me make my dream of owning a successful pool business a reality.

The Pool Broker never called to see if I was OK. I can remember him saying that during escrow, he and his staff would verify the accounts to see if there were any problems. It turned out the Pool Broker never did a back ground check on the Seller or any of the accounts as promised. If he would have called just a few, there would have been a red flag and all this would have been avoided.

I found myself with no money, and not enough pool accounts to make my bills. I never heard from that Pool Broker again, and now I was out nearly all my life savings.

Jeff picked me up by the collar. He and I began talking on a daily basis. When I wanted to give up and throw in the towel, he pushed me and told me to never give up. I would tell him the problems that I was having, and he would give me solutions. Not just in the pool business, but in life in general. Jeff has been there from the beginning and still is. Jeff had contacts in Arizona, and whenever I needed someone or something, he would make a call and always came through for me. For Jeff, it's not about the money, it can't be. He not only gave me his commission on the sale the Broker had paid, but has never asked me for a penny. It's been four years and yes, I have a successful pool service business here in Gilbert, Arizona.

I have been through a lot in these past four years, but I ended up with one hell of a friend that has stood there next to me when the storm hit. We rode it out. I could not have asked for a better mentor and role model then Jeff Crolene. If you ever have the fortune to meet my friend Jeff, you'll know what I mean.
