Bad service

In my searches for employment I cam accross a company offering secret customer shopping employment. They sent me a cashier's check asking me to deposit the funds and begin to make a few purchases and to wire $4000 of the funds back to the company. I even called the bank number on the check and they verified the funds were available for the cashier's check to be deposited into my bank account. After depositing the cashier's check at my local bank and waiting a few days, I withdrew the money and wired the funds as I was instructed to do so.

Not soon after that did I receive notification from my bank that the cashier's check did not go through and my account was now overdrawn. After calling the phone numbers on the check and within the employment paperwork, I soon found out that I had been scammed. I have spoken to my bank as well as many individuals concerning this and have been told that I am now the newest victim to check fraud. Apparently, this company was operating out of Canada and now there is no way for me to go after them to seek my funds.

I am posting this complaint online so that anyone that comes across this company or something similar to this can be warned to not do business with them so you are not victimized as well.
