No returns accepted, spineless managment, store doesn't back products

My mother and wife decided to make some tomato soup. They went to Wal-Mart and bought a juicer that wouldn't extract the pulp well enough so they went to K-Mart and bought a different one but got the same results.

My wife then called Leavitt's Kitchen Center thinking they might sell a higher quality juicer. My wife explained to the sales lady what she was trying to accomplish and the sales lady told her about this great juicer and that it would be great for the job. I stopped by after work and picked up the juicer and was told by the sales lady what a great juicer I was buying.

Got the juicer home and went for round three. Still, the juicer would leave about half of the pulp container full of juice. We had to dump the pulp in an old fashioned colander to get the juice from the left over pulp. Now I know I can't expect any juicer to do a perfect job but the thing was leaving over half of the pulp container full of finished product (soup). Anyways, we used the colander to finish job. Holy cow that took forever!

My wife returned the juicers to Wal-mart, and K-Mart no problems. Not the same story at Leavitt's. The manager smart assedly laughed at her and told her she couldn't return it because it was used and that she would have to return it to the manufacturer. Now keep in mind this thing was purchased less than 24 hours ago and we have to send it back to the manufacturer because it does a crappy job.

Enter me. I call the store and mind you I'm pissed. I ask for the manager. He basically tells me the same thing, "No refund, my problem, send to manufacturer, it works fine". How the hell does he know it works fine? Then the guy hangs up on me. What!? I immediately call back and ask for him and am put on hold. I wait for several minutes and then a lady comes on and tells me he's not available. Yeah right, he doesn't even dare talk to me on the phone. He just hung up on me thirty seconds earlier. What kind of manager first of all is an asshole to my wife, hangs up on me, and then won't pick up a call thats waiting for him?

To sum this up, don't ever shop at this establishment because they don't back up their products and they have no concept of customer service. If the product doesn't work correctly your screwed and its up to you to send it to the manufacturer to get fixed.
