Ripoff Roaming charge nightmare Johnson City Tennessee

Wow... Im still on shock of how bad Suncom AT&T customer service has been in dealing with this situation. I have been charged over $1600.00 in roaming charges because a Suncom AT&T customer service representative gave me incorrect information regarding our coverage area. After receiving my outragous bill I called Suncom to inform them they gave me the wrong information over the phone. They argued that there is no record of their representative giving me incorrect information. The only thing they would do is pay half of the charges... That left me with $800 in roaming charges as a result of their mistake. I refused to pay the bill up until my one year renewal date arrived then I was forced to either pay the bill or automatically be renewed for another year commitment with a company that lied.

Consumers need to find a way to unite and stand up to these companies who use unfair and dishonest business tactics to make money off people. Its so frustrating to deal with these problems and eventually we give up because of how difficult it is to deal with "customer service" people over the phone. If enough people voiced their concerns over how they are treated by cellular companies maybe we could change the sytem... Just maybe.
