Magazine Scam... Using our young to rip us off... Paying for something you never receive

A young girl named Amanda knocked on my door selling magazine subscriptions for school. I cut her a check for $48 so i can get 18 psycology today magazines which i never received. I called the number and left a message. A few days later a man named Howrad Brock called stating he had to fire his manager due to her lack of work. When I gave him my invoice number he said I was one of a few people whos subscription was filed without being processed which is why he fired his manger. He said it would be processed and to allow a few weeks for delivery of the first magazine. I never received anything so I called today only to get a recording stating they disconnected their number. Now I have come across so many complaints I am just pissed off and want justice. I will get my money back legally!!!
