Ripoff demanding payment for nothing

Fingerhut Corp; I ordered some bedding for a Christmas present they sent a reply that it wouldnt be in before Christmas and asked if I would still like to order it? I replied in Writing that I wanted to cancel. End of story! Well not exactly, they Then started sending me bills for the merchandise. I have a policy not to pay for merchandise I never receive.

We went back and forth, them saying they would take care of it then someone else calling and starting all over again. They sent me statements to sign twice saying I never received the merchandise. Finally they stopped bothering me. I thought it was straightened out, Then I get a credit report and find they have turned in that I owe them for something I never received. Now I find out they are going bankrupt, no surprise, with business practices like this. They have told me again after many calls that they will have this fixed but instead they turned it into a R-9 on my credit report. This should be illegal
