Is a dishonest company, do not order magazines from them

I ordered 4 magazines in Nov07 and only received 1. After numerous attempts to contact them I started and email chain w / "Brian" and "Jason" that followed the same pattern I now see from many that have posted about this company all over the internet.

1st, they state they will resubmit the order to make you wait another 30-90 days, then when you get mad they will respond they can credit your CC the amount you paid but of course they don't. Then when you contact them asking why you have not been credited, they will tell you it's because the transaction is too old and they can't reverse it but that they will turn it over to their "Account Department" and have a checked issues for the credit and you guessed it... The check that's "in the mail" never comes.

After playing this stupid game w / these theifs I took the following action:
1. Filed a complaint w / the FTC online, which was easy to do and I recommend all to do it.
2. Filing complaint w / my state's Attorney General
3. Filed a complaint w / the BBB
4. Contacted the Publishers of the magazines I never received to inform them that this company was ripping off their potential future customers. I found out that the magazines from the publishers I did not get magazines from have already conatcted mags4cheap and told them to stop seeling subscriptions of their magazines.
5. I am now in the slow and painful process of contacting all the publishers the mag4cheap does business w/, to include the 1 magazine I did get and making sure they are aware of their risk of taking orders from this company as well. It takes a while but I am getting in touch w / all their legal departments.

For me this is not about the money it's about being fed up and the theft and putting an end to these types of businesses.

Take the time to do what I have done. I did not do it all in a day but when i have the spare time and will continue contacting the publishers as well. They all seem to be very interested in what's going on and I have pointed them all to Google to find examples of what this company is doing, so don't give up.

Also, don't bother wasting time w / "Brian" the CS Rep/Supervisor because he is who I dealt w / most of the time and while he has never been rude to me, he also as not come through on a single thing he stated and is full of hot air and he will not deliver on any promise he makes you, nor will anyone else that responds to you.
