Magazine subscription ordered Jan 4 has not been sent to publisher by June 20

I was given a gift to playboy magazine for my 90 birthday on Jan 4.
When it had not arrived by May 5 I called playboy and they stated they had not received an order from magazine city.
I contacted mc and they said wait a while, I tried phoning but i was put on hold fpr 6-7 minutes then told no one was available to answer my call. I tried this several times with the same result.
M C seems to be a complete ripoff taking money but never ordering the subscription.
