Student "s.U.P.'ed" out of money ripoff thieves

This year at the start of the school year, once again the fun people with the magazine subscriptions came around to our dorms. Actually wanting to buy a magazine this year, I happily signed up for the Caribbean Travel and Life magazine from a nice door to door sales guy. I wrote a check for 48 dollars and that was it.

Here we are three almost four months later, no magazine no way to cancel the check because it's already been deposited, and zero response from the person who "sold" it to me. This sucks! That was money I could be using for next semester on books for classes. Gone, never to be seen again.
