World Wide Relocation
Worldwide Relocation I was ripped off 1,500.00 dollars

Shops, Products, Services

I hired world wide relocation in Oct. to move a couch, chair ottoman and 10 boxes from Kentucky to Ireland. Gave then a deposit of 200.00, then the rest of the money before they picked up my items to move, which amounted to 1,535.00 dollars. After many months and everybody in the company I finally did reach by phone, they told me my stuff was at port of entry and due to bad weather is being delayed... Then after me sending them many more emails in April I got this.

Due to a variety of factors that include a current economic downturn, excessive bad debt write-offs, strategic business decisions that resulted in negative cash flow, as well as other circumstances that have adversely affected our company's financial well being, Worldwide Relocations, Inc. Is no longer able to meet all of its financial obligations. At this time, our company chooses not to exercise its legal right to file for protection under current bankruptcy laws, although that may change at a future date.instead, WWR chooses to work diligently and cooperate fully with all vendors still holding household goods and personal effects booked through WWR. Our commitment remains in effect until the last shipment is delivered and/or resolved.

Although our company will not be able to pay the current outstanding debt to its vendors, our goal to assist in the delivery of all customer shipments remains the same. To accomplish this, WWR has forwarded your contact information to the vendor that is in possession of your belongings. Please contact them directly to obtain the latest shipment status. If your shipment has not already been delivered, then the vendor will most likely advise you that a balance remains on your shipment. It is in your best interest to work out a financial arrangement directly with your vendor to expedite the release of your goods, since WWR is not able to do so at this time. Their contact information is listed below for your convencience in case they have not already made contact with you.

Euro america finally sent my stuff to me for an extra 1,600.00. I have not heard from world wide relocation since that email (above). How can a company get away with not paying your money back to you? Are they still in business?

Here are some of the people that I dealt with.
