Uses Deceptive Business Practices They said the report is instant then AFTER i paid they said it would be 24-72 hours

First of all, they are selling information that is SUPPOSED to be FREE and in fact WAS a number of years ago. Secondly, as privacy and identity theft issues boom and tighter measures are taken by the phone companies such as removing the availability of such information, companies like INTELIUS just HARVEST the same information from their customers and then LIE by representing that they are obtaining the same information they way they always have.

Thirdly, no matter what you put in they always tell you that they have the info and that you can pay to get it, without giving you any idea of what info they actually have. Fourth, they TELL you all along that you can get a report INSTANTLY, and sometimes you do. BUT you can order a report and then only AFTER you pay do you find out that they want to spend 24-72 hours researching it, even though they gave NO indication that the report would NOT be INSTANT like they had been claiming up until the point of payment authorization.

Fifth, when you get pissed off at them and try to cancel your order and/or your account, you discover that they have NO means by which to request an order cancelation. Sixth, you then discover that they have NO means by which to cancel your membership either, and that they call it an "annual membership" and dont tell you whether that mean it will just end in a year and you have to renew, or if they will auto renew for you. Their customer service and support on their website is TERRIBLE as it should clearly outline ALL of these things yet there is nothing.

So then, SEVENTH, you try to contact them only to discover that the only means by which you can attempt to do so is their contact page where you enter a message instead of getting actual email or phone numbers besides their customer service line, and when you try to write to them you only have a few subjects to choose from instead of typing in your own, then after you type in your message and click send you instantaneously get back a boilerplate webpage which is nothing more than the page for the subject you selected and there is no indication as to whether your message actually went to someone or not or if they are going to research it or if they even care.

INTELIUS DECEIVES YOU INTO GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY AND DOESNT OFFER A WORTHWHILE SERVICE IN RETURN. There are better ways to find out who owns a phone number.
