Beware! Attorney Ed Ferguson Charged Me a $ 3500 Retainer and Did Nothing. Ignored My Calls

Attorney Ed Ferguson, Jr. Charged me a retainer fee of $ 3500. He was hired to handle an issue with my ex-Husband Monty Pridgeon not paying child support. After paying Mr. Ferguson, He basically did nothing. Mr. Ferguson or his office wouldn't return my calls, wouldn't reply to my emails. Ferguson's office told me that he was to busy. His office staff had the same rude attitude that he embraces. Rudeness must be his office policy.

After 1.5 months of no responses I requested my money back so I could retain a lawyer who cared. He refused for the first month. After further complaints filed with the NC State Bar, he refunded me $ 1100.00. Which is ridiculous? Can you believe that he charged me for hours in preperation for responded to my complaint against him, and then he deducted the charges from my retainer? I was wronged either way i went. This attorney was irresponsible for the manner he treated my case and unfair in the way he handled my retainer fee. It would only lead me to believe that he
