Partner Moving Shai Blum Sean Blum G.S. B, International Partner Van Lines damaged my furniture, some beyond repair, acknowledges partial debt, wont even pay that without my signing release

Hired in late december to move from marin county, ca to chicago, il, i should have known they screwed something up when they wouldn't even unload the truck without having certified funds in advance. They tried to charge me extra for stairs even though i had told them originally there were stairs on the chicago end of the trip, after much fighting, they waived that but still charged me for 'shuttle' service even though i've seen moving vans on my block before.

Once unloaded, there was $674 worth of damage according to a quote, including one piece of funiture damaged beyond repair, they wouldn't pay the $674 and offered $200, i said i'll take the $200 but not sign a release since they did much more damage, now they won't even pay the $200. Shady company, stay away!
