Attempted to scam more than $1600 from my credit card

After purchasing two airline tickets for $860, I was suspicious on how the website was reacting. Within a couple of hours, Ultimate Fares tried to charge my credit card several times, including one amount for $1666! My husband immediately called the credit card company to stop payment and was advised to cancel the credit card - of which he did. After some internet research (wish I did this prior to giving them my personal information!), this website has a multitude of complaints such as mine. Many people had worse experiences than me. Although I am already being harrassed by their "creditors" (spoof telephone numbers), I am ready to do battle with them by reporting them to any agency possible. If you have been scammed by this company, please do the same. Report them to the Better Business Bureau, file a complaint with the FTC and with your state's attorney general. The more complaints, the sooner they will be shut down!
