Unauthorized charges

I called 888 296 8079 "The Billing Resource" they automatically transferred the call to the AGORA number 1-800 215 1961.

I spoke with an associate there (who sounded east Indian) and asked why I was being billed the $8.23 plus tax ($8.72) without my authorization.

She stated that it was due to someone from my phone number signing up over the Internet.

She also said that the company has a multitude of sites on the net that people can sign up on.

She was able to give me the name of the individual and the date she signed up.

After stating that the individual in question was not authorized to sign up for any services on my behalf, the charges were reversed.

It was easy to discontinue the service and have the charges refunded.

I think this is correct but have to wait 2 to 3 billing cycles to see if charges are actually removed

At least the telephone contact was easy once you knew where to call.
