At Home Rewards, Today's Escapes
Taking Advantage of the Disabled

Shops, Products, Services

My 88 year old father is legally blind, deaf and can barely walk. He uses a credit card only when we drive him to the supermarket. I discovered that At Home Rewards and Today's Escapes were charging him $19.99 each per month, on his GM MasterCard. I found that this was going on for 10 months. He says that he never agreed to these services and would have no use for them. Unfortunately, when people call him he tries to be nice and talk, even though he can't hear much. I don't know if they talked to him.

The GM MasterCard people closed the account for us and have been sympathetic, but the At Home Rewards and Today's Escape people have no problem taking advantage of the elderly and disabled. This is shameful and these scam businesses should be dismantled and the owners held responsible.
