Paid $8500.00 with a promise of 5 deals, and they couldn't deliver on even 1

My wife and I were nervous about getting involved with Nu-Way. They offered to back us on 5 real estate purchases, up to $200,000 (per deal), give us a 1% finders fee on all contracts at closing and a profit split on all sold properties. Because they are based out of Englewood, CO and we live in Pueblo, CO, we decided to drive to their location and check out their legitamacy. They did say that they didn't usually work face to face with anyone out of their building, because they dealt with people all over the country by phone. The employees there were mostly operators dealing with clients from around the country, by phone. They didn't try to prevent us from coming in and were helpful with questions and selling their business. We decided to give it a try and paid $8500.00 for our deal. My wife and I worked our end of the deal on a full time basis. We presented several deals to them. Our first deal that they agreed to make an offer on, fell through because Nu-Way took too much time putting the deal together. With following deals, we found it very difficult to contact our Personnal Acquistion Specialist. When we called, he was either out of the office, or on another line. He was not good about returning calls in a prompt manner, answering e - mails, or expedting deals. The turn around time on good deals that we presented should have been 4 or 5 days.instead, they would take 2 to 3 weeks, because of our inability to contact them. We dealt with this for the one year duration of our contract with them, without completing one deal.
