Ripoff mistreated and ripped off

This company ruined over $3,000.00 worth of our furniture and then first promised to repair it only to back out of the promise when they learned how much the repairs would be.

The workers were over 5hours late and were later found to be drinking alcohol on the job. They were rude and abusive and later extorted extra money from by my wife by threatening to have her arrested if she didn't pay.

When contacted about this later, the manager (Matthew Griffith) said that he would take care of the situation. He said that he return my check to me when he received it and would fix the furniture. I stopped payment on the check because of his promise and the fact that I refused to pay the extorted extra money. He later said that because of this he could not help me anymore. He later changed his story again and said that he indeed could because his company did receive payment from themovers themselves for theh move and since technically the move was paid for he could help. He then changed his story again, saying that the movers did NOT pay for the move so I was on my own.

He has continually lied, misled and misinformed myself, the BBB and the Department of Consumer Affairs about this issue.

Any company like this deserves to be out of business.
