Rip-Off Company That Doesn't Stand Behind the Warranty

I purchased a Miralux mattress set, which in total including delivery was approximately $1,700. I had my reservations purchasing anything from them since I've heard such bad publicity about their company, but the salesman of the Roosevelt Field Sleepys assured me that Sleepys does everything to make things right for the customer. So I fell for it.

The boxspring I noticed has a rip in the corner, which looks to me as though the wire inside is pushing against it, which has caused the fabric to rip. I am afraid that this will continue ripping with time.

I've called customer service for the last two weeks to try and get an adjuster to come and take a look at it. After speaking to several customer service reps. And explaining this situation, they have informed me that when the adjuster comes out and looks at the boxspring, he will order a new boxspring, but I have to pay to get it re-delivered.

So I questioned this with the customer service rep. I said how can this be if it is a manufacturing problem, which is causing the boxspring to rip, why do I have to pay another re-delivery fee of $80 when it is your problem.

I am still waiting to schedule an appointment with the adjuster, which till this day I have been unable to speak to an adjuster to get an appointment.

I am very frustrated.

I will also report them to the Better Business Bureau and I will send a copy of this letter to the Corporate Headquarters for Sleepys to see if I can get anything resolved here.

I will never go to them for another mattress.
