Sold me an almost dead dog

Anypets.com convinced me to buy through them by telling me they only deal with reputable breeders. They only sell the best quality dog and their dogs comes with a lifetime warrenty. I paid $1300.00 with shipping fees for a chocolate lab. We had to travel to an airport an hour and a half away even though I told them we live 15 mintues from LVI airport. When we opened the kennnel he came in, the first thing I saw was an inch long cut on his front leg split open about a quarter inch.

I immediatly called anypets and they instructed me to fax them the vet report and a copy of the bill and they would reimbures us. We took him straight to the vet and it didn't take long for them to inform me that we recieved a very sick dog.

They estimated the cut to be about a week old and an infection set in and went through his body and he was about a day away from dead. He had earmites, a yeast infection in his ears, a sick desease and best of all he had Giardia.

He spent 4 days in the hospiatl and $1700.00 later he was well enough to come home. He had such bad digestinal issues he ended up back in the hospital for another 2 days and another $400.00 untill well again.

After many weeks of medicine and special bathes for his skin condition and confinment to my kitchen so my other dog wouldn't contract the Giardia he was well.

Due to anypets we are thousand of dollars in debt and our household was turned upside down for months caring for him.

That was back in Sept.By the end of Oct. And weeks of calling and getting no response I also was contacted by an ex-employee claiming to have been shafted by the company as well and he wanted to right their wrongs. He asked me to send him all the paperwork I had and he would make a file on us and after the so called lawsuit was settled we would be on a list of people the company was going to pay back.

It is now March and needless to say we have not been contacted once are still paying down the debt anypets has cause us.
