Powerpoint financial rip off check amt of $4890.00

I received a letter in the mail from this company addressed to my mother but mailed to my home address. The letter was signed by Laura Morgan (Promotion Manager) but the letter stated to call Bill Hensley @ 1-905-783-4141 prior to cashing check. It gives a claim number of DH/SUL-0011. The letter also ask you to send $2985.00 in money gram or western union to cover the tax amount of the winnings which is notated as $250,000.00. The winning final notification (which is the only notification she received), says the declared winner is of the North Mega Sweepstakes which was held on January 5th. The ticket serial no. Is 387450146 drew the lucky winning no. 38-44-66-79-91 (of which she never entered any sweepstakes). The address on the "winning final notification letter" is 101 King St. Morriston Ontario N0B2C3, but the address on the check is 1000 N. Broad St. Suite 2, Lansdale, PA 19446, check #37124. The check is drawn on National Penn Bank, PO Box 547 Boyertown, PA 19512-0547, dated for 1/31/08 and says not valid after 60 days.
