Dove Campaign For Real Beauty BIG COMPANY RIPPED ME OFF of

I love most of the Dove products and continue to buy their products.

1 year and 1/2 ago I sent a check for $3.00 and ordered a shirt for The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty (which I found very interesting). The shirts had a message for real beauty of something similar. The thing is that it's been almost 2 years and I never received the shirt and I recently check my bank account and it shows that Dove was able the cash my check, but wasn't able to mail shirt.

What happened? I understand that they might have sold out, but why did the company cashed my check if they didn't have nothing the send me?..
I'm not sure what happened, but would like some answers or at least my shirt.
