Actually Green Lawncare
Haven't shoveled our Association parking lot like they were hired to do

My husband and I have lived in our Association for 4 1/2 years. Each year we vote for a company to clean our driveway and parking lot areas for the winter. This year it was decided (by the President and management company) that only 2 bids would be gotten. One from the company that we had been using (which not a lot of people were very happy about and we did want a change). So the only other company available was Actually Green Lawncare. It was getting very late into the year and we were pressured into making a decision immediately at the annual meeting in late October. We weren't able to get any recommendations from other people that had used them in the past, so we had to vote to use them for this snow season. It was the worst mistake that could have been made.

This company has no clue how to clear a parking lot. When they do finally show up, a lot of people have had to go out and clear an area for themself already because they need to get to work on time. We pay association fees every month for this to be taken care. Just one example is: on the Saturday night before Christmas we had a heavy snowfall and wind. My husband and I missed Christmas with my family on that Sunday because Actually Green Lawncare decided not to show up until after 10 am to start clearing the snow. We had to leave at 10 am to get to my parents. They came and cleared one small path and left thinking that that would take care of it. Only after yelling at the President of the assocation twice and then getting in touch with the Management company did they come back and semi-clean the area. Actually Green Lawncare didn't even begin to touch the parking spaces, like they were being paid to do. They also left 2 feet of snow up against everybody's gararge door (garages are detached from the condo) and if you wanted out you had to try to get into your garage and shovel it yourself. (Once again, we pay to have this done).

I only thank God that we are moving out in 6 weeks and only hope that we will be able to sell our condo quickly so we don't have to deal with any of this hassle any more.
