When sold a laptop, I wanted to buy a spare battery for travel. I was told by the salesman that If I bought the protection plan, that Circuit City would send a free battery every 4 months for 1 year. Of course, now 4 months has passed and I called to get my replacement battery and was told that I was misinformed. What a ripoff. I could have saved $374 and just bought a new battery like I wanted in the first place.
