Sold me false information, and will not so much as answer the phone or respond to my emails after two weeks.inTERNET

I have been trying to contact an old frined, one who has disappeared from the face of the earth. I decided to purchase information from INtelius after seeing one of their sidebar ads. I was made to believe that the information was correct.intelius uses phrases like, "Confirmed with current public utility records" and the like when trying to convince you that the information is true.

The information I received was FALSE. It was so off base, in fact, that the individual I was looking for NEVER LIVED at the address provided, and the telephone number they provided was NEVER his number. I performed a reverse phone lookup and found that the address and number do indeed match, but the people who currently live in that house state that they have lived there for over 20 years and have had the same phone number the whole time. Seeing as how the individual I have been looking for was last known to reside in another state 5 years ago, this information is FALSE. He never liived in that house, nor was he ever associated with it in any fashion.

This company makes false claims regarding the validity of the information it sells. The customer service hotline has been broken for almost two weeks, citing "inclimate weather" as the cause. The online customer service response to date has consisted of ONE web bot response. I have made multiple queries into the matter with them, and they have yet to answer. I doubt that anyone there cares at all; they already have my money.

Avoid at all costs.
