Lied, and offended me

First off, this company really doesn't have their stuff together. They make you think they are a 93 year old company that has never laid anyone off and never put anyone out of business. That they are this big company that has to do a big expansion. Turns out when you get there in the orientation and let me tell you the guy giving that is the biggest jerk I have ever laid my eyes on. We started out doing the introduction of our names and hobbies to the entire group. He got to me and I said Hi, my name is Ari and he said Ari? And I said yes, its Hebrew. He laughed. What is funny about my name being hebrew? So I just ignored it. Then we got the "pleasure" of listening to him talk about himself for around 1.5 hours. He over used the phrase "thats gay". It annoyed me in high school and it annoys me today. I am a homosexual and i found it very offensive. Their application even stated they are an EOE (equal opportunity employer) and they do not discriminate against sexual orientation. After about 5 times using it, I wanted to run away. Then he mentioned how we should never be nervous in front of our customers that we would not want to look like a sissy, and did the limp wrist gesture. The position is also nothing of what they tell you in the interview, and as a matter of fact, they make you seem like you have nothing to do with sales that you are just assisting customers in helping them to understand the use of their products. That could not be any further from the reality. You pack in a van, go to strange neighborhoods, some female knocks on a door, sets an appointment, you show them how to use a vacuum cleaner, then they have someone who tries to sucker them into buying a 2600 dollar vacuum that they bought for 300 bucks from a whole sale distribution. He downed every job out there making them sound like they were not anything compared to being a Kirby dealer. And that even a doctor and a lawyer have no where near the earning potential as someone who walks up and down streets every day ripping off people with a vacuum cleaner.

If you find their ad... We have 15 full time positions available with rapid advancement, full benefits, and great incentives, calling it customer relations for month... Ignore it. TRUST ME its not worth the money they are luring you into their trap with.
