I ordered a book. Sent payment in full. Never received anything. 24.95 was what i sent on 8-2-07 ck. 2089 what can i do to get my money back?

As I stated above. I am a victim. Ripped off sent the money by check and never received the book or anything. And that was aug. What can be done about this? I know that surely they can be tracted down. How do they just keep on getting away with this? And i do believe that they use other names but not sure which ones they are. Please help. I will make out a police report or whatever it takes.
