Promises were made by Prime Movers to get our bid for a move from Los Angles to Burlington, VT. Everything they promised turned out to be fabricated lies. When questioned whether they used their own trucks or contracted out, Prime Movers unwavingly stated it had a fleet of 50 trucks and its own drivers. When the driver showed up for our move, he was in his own unmarked rig and trailer, and told me he was not registered as a Prime Mover employee, but rather, still an employee of Bekins!

Our promised 8 day delivery turned into a harrowing 18 days. The driver ended up spending a leisurely four days in El Paso, TX for the Fourth of July weekend. He lied to us saying he broke down, and then purportedly broke down again in MD. When we reported this to Prime Movers, it stated that it never got word of any break downs. As we called day after day to find out the status of the errant driver, Prime Movers go more annoyed with us, first telling us not to worry, then using rude tones, and finally swearing. It also promised compensation, which never materialized. Additionally, it never responded to any of the registered mail informing it that, if compensation wasn't provided for our inconvenience, we would report it to the online rip off sites.

Prime movers obviously does business in the U.S. The way they did it in the "old country, " by their rules, not those of the ICC.
