Contract and Pay for Yellow Page Ad, then they don't distribute the directory

This year I decided to advertise my small business in The Local Pages directory. They publish telephone directories in lots of areas, including mine. The salesman called on me and gave me a nice presentation as to the benefits of placing my ad in their telephone book.

The contract I signed states the directory is for my city. However they apparently decided not to distribute the directory in my city after all. I requested a refund of amounts paid, but was denied since after all I am getting benefit of the advertising in a different city 30 miles away.

This left me with no yellow page exposure for my business for this year. I'll be more careful in the future to be sure the company I am advertising with really intends to promote my business in my city.
