LIARS Gave them over $1000 and have received no calls and no jobs

We took our daughter to Glamour last year and were told she was adorable etc. And we should pay the money to have a "professional" photo shoot which consisted of taking pictures on a makeshift stage and in a corner of a room. Then we were called back to reveiw the pictures and were told they had been presented toa panel of local agencies and it was unanimous our daughter definitely had the look. We should consider doing another 3 photo shoots 1 dressy, 1 casual, 1 sporty. For $395. So we did.

Then after that we were called in again and told that they would like to represent our daughter for 3 years and that we could get modeling work paying anywhere from $50 day to $1000. That travel and lodging would be included if we were sent out of town for an audition.in addition they talked us into buying 300 face shots for mailers for $300 they kept 15 of them and gave us mailing lists to mail them out.

These cost $1 each to mail out but we did it, and were we ever surprised when almost 30 came back addresses unknown or undeliverable. We called Glamour and were told not to worry. We called and left messages and awaited call backs. Nothing. And of course we went upstairs to Prima Fascia and they gave us a deal, a lower rate to have a full page ad in the magazine. And we have had no auditions or contacts from that either. WE feel like we have been taken for alot of money and our daughter has had no job offers or even auditions. WE wasted alot of money believing in their BS and "con".

WE are getting ready to contact them and request our money back as it seems it was taken under false pretenses. We were only waiting for the 1 year anniversary to at least give them a chance but so far nothing. It appears the Glamour Modeling and Talent agency is a scam and Prima-Fascia is just pictures of kids in a makeshift magazine. I have a copy and was not impressed with the quality of the magazine. We have been lucky in the fact that we saved all of our receipts and even the postage costs to mail out to non existant agencies. We thought we had done our homework on these agencies, but now see the error.
